2nd Annual Ernest Johnson Memorial Regatta
to benefit the American Cancer Society

JULY 25-26, 1998

HOBIE FLEET 100/DISIVION 9 POINTS REGATTA
AN OCEAN EVENT OFF ATLANTIC BEACH TOWN CIRCLE

There will be no late registration premium, but please send in the

pre-registration form ASAP so that we may plan dinners and T-shirts (all

shirts will be XL and are guaranteed to advance registration ... on

site, as long as they last).

July 24th - 3:00-8:30PM: Early check-in at the Town Public Beach

Pavilion (see directions below). Sailing instructions and directions to

the host house available. Boats will be towed onto the beach by

designated vehicles only. Staging area will be in the parking lot next

to the pavilion.

July 25
8:00-10:00AM: Late check-in.

10:00AM: Skipper’s meeting

11:30AM: First white flag - back to back races to end approx. 4:30PM

6:00PM: Dinner/party/ at 107 Club Colony Drive

July 26
10:00AM: White flag - back to back races, no white flag after 1:30PM

Awards ceremony, trophies presentation, boats towed off the beach (all

boats must be on trailers and ready to tow. Skipper or crew must be on

the lot in line to ride with tow vehicle back to boat on the beach.

Directions: Take US 70 east to Morehead City, cross the causeway and

continue straight ahead through one traffic light to the Town Beach

Pavilion and parking lot.
