The Croaker Festival is a photographer’s dream!

In the spirit of independence, innovation and participation, the people clicking the cameras will now have their own contest to see who can capture the essence of Croakerfest 2002. And it will be fun to see the many different events captured on film.

The rules are simple.

The photo has to be taken during this year’s Croaker Festival -any happening – any event.

Get your photos developed ASAP in a 4x6 format or the panoramic format.

Pick your best photos and each person will be limited to five entries.

 Do not write on the back of the photo.

Submit your entry in a large envelope with your name, address and phone number on the envelope.

 To make this event self-supporting, please enclose $1.00 per photo that you enter.

 If you enter five photos, enclose five dollars, etc. Which is the limit.

Bring your entry to Croakertown (by the post office) or mail to Liz Lathrop POB 752, Oriental NC 28571 by July 31.

All entries become the property of the Croaker Festival and will not be returned, so ask for double prints from your favorite developer.

Photos will be judged and prizes and awards presented at The Oriental Cup Regatta in Septmeber. Your photo could be the one to advertise next year’s Croakerfest 2003. And it will be a part of history in the Croakerfest 2002 photo album.
